How thread handles consent and transparency

7 min read

What is captured, who can see it, how long it is kept, and how people exercise their rights over it.

Nothing enters a thread workspace without an explicit connection made by a workspace administrator, and participants are always informed when a conversation is preserved.

Access follows the relationship. Being able to see a conversation requires a legitimate role in it or in the project it belongs to.

Retention is configurable per workspace, with defaults that favour deletion over accumulation.

Subject access, correction and erasure requests are handled through self-service administrator tooling with a full audit trail.
